Important information that you need to know

WPCU’s Branch Closures:

Both branches will be closed at 4pm on Wednesday, September 30, 2020. Both branches will remain closed all day on Thursday, October 1 and Friday, October 2. Both branches will reopen on Monday, October 5, 2020.

WPCU’s ATM Machines:

The three WPCU ATM machines will be out of service from 4pm September 30th till 9am Monday, October 5th.

Suggested solution - be prepared with a little extra cash on hand or other method of payment (such as credit card) for the service interruption period.

WPCU Member Cards:

From 4pm on September 30th till 9am on October 5th - all WPCU Member/debit cards will not work at any other ATM machine or any Interac® POS terminal.

Online Banking & e-Transfers:

WPCU’s online banking including bill payments and e-Transfers will not be available from 4pm Wednesday, September 30th till 9am Monday, October 5th.

Suggested solutions
: ensure any bills due by Monday, October 5th are paid before Wednesday, September 30th at 4pm. Download or print your statement transaction history (e-statements will be available for the whole of 2020 online after the conversion).

e-Transfers: The e-Transfer service will be unavailable from September 28th until October 5th.

Suggested solution: send and accept all e-Transfers before September 28th.

e-Transfers sent by WPCU members prior to September 28th, but not accepted by recipients prior to September 28th will be processed after October 5th.

e-Transfers sent to WPCU members but not accepted prior to September 28th, will be processed after October 5th.

Online history of e-Transfers sent or received prior to September 28th will be not be available. Your e-Transfer recipient list will no longer be available after September 28th.

Suggested solution:
copy your recipient list before September 28th.

e-Transfer – Autodeposit option – we are asking all members who have set-up the Autodeposit option to delete all emails under this option before September 28th. This will help ensure member e-transfers are processed correctly during our conversion process. Once the e-Transfer system is back up and running on October 5th – you can re-register your emails for Autodeposit.

Mobile Apps – for both Android and Apple:

Mobile Apps will not be available after 4pm on September 30th. Mobile Apps will remain unavailable until Tuesday, October 13th.

Some of the above mentioned platforms may become available earlier than expected so please continue to check the credit union website www.wpcu.ca during our conversion process for the most up to date information.
